Water Damage Restoration

Water damage takes on many different forms. It can arrive in a flood, saturating all of your belongings at once, or it can slowly spread through unseen places due to a leaky pipe, or poorly maintained HVAC system. No matter what the cause of your water damage may be, VIP Restoration has the specialized equipment and the training necessary to use it to its fullest potential. Without professional grade equipment, water can collect in hard to reach areas of your property and create pockets of moisture that you can’t see or reach. These pockets of moisture will inevitably lead to a mold problem that can damage both your health and your possessions. Our team of water damage restoration professionals is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can bring our state of the art equipment to your property in minutes to begin the restoration process immediately!

When dealing with water damage, safety is always our primary concern. There are many hazards associated with water damage, including electrical hazards, unstable footing, structural damage, and contamination of the water by chemicals and biological agents. VIP Restoration also handles cleanup of sewage and other Category 3 water damage. We have the safety equipment and IICRC training and certification necessary to ensure that we can handle dangerous waters safely.

A botched dry-out job is sometimes worse than making no attempt because you’ve already spent time and money on trying to fix a hopeless situation on your own. It makes sense to invest in the future of your valuable items, inventory, and possessions. Call or email the experts at VIP Restoration as quickly as possible following any incident of water damage.

Basement Water Damage Due to Broken & Frozen Pipes

Winter can be the most devastating time of year for water damage. Over a quarter of a million American homes each year will suffer from damage due to frozen or burst pipes. Water pipe bursts are common in areas of extreme winter cold and high winds that drive the wind chill well below freezing temperatures. Plumbing systems that lack proper insulation and are exposed to the winter’s cold are far more likely to create a need for restoration.

Homes that are left vacant with no regulating of heat or poorly insulated walls can be a common culprit of frozen water pipes and frozen water lines in the winter time. These breaks can be hard to notice immediately because they commonly occur in the basement. Broken pipes can also be common cause of water damage, causing gallons of water to come flooding through your living rooms, bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom.

A frozen, broken or leaky pipe are all inconveniences that can lead to major headaches for your home. Ignoring these repairs can be extremely costly as water damage can lead to an unstable structure and damage of your valuables. Should you need any help with a burst or frozen pipe or are dealing with water or flooding at all, give us a call today!

Sewage Damage Cleanup and Removal

VIP Restoration is your choice for sewage cleanup. A problem with your sewer system can cause significant problems. In addition to the foul stench, an array of other problems such as fungi, viruses and other pathogens can create serious health hazards. If sewage problems remain untreated, they can cause major structural damage which can be extraordinarily expensive to repair.

Sewage damage can contain high amounts of harmful bacteria and there are serious health risks associated with it. It’s critical that you do not try to clean up a mess from broken pipes that are connected to a sewage line. Coming in contact with raw sewage can cause disease, can destroy your valuables and cause severe damage to your property. Only trained professionals with the right equipment should handle sewage removal.

Water that has been contaminated by bacteria, human waste, or another “grossly unsanitary” contaminant is classified as Category 3 by the IICRC. Category 3, or “black water,” is a blanket category for water that has been contaminated by pathogens and human waste that constitute a very real health risk. If your home or business has experienced a Category 3 water damage event, it is extremely important that you contact a professional right away. The health risks caused by “black water” contamination are very real, and can cause serious and permanent damage to anyone unfortunate enough to come into contact with it. It may be tempting to try to clean up on your own, using over the counter products like bleach and other agents, but VIP Restoration has both professional equipment and specially formulated cleaning agents that are necessary to ensure proper sanitization and a safe return to pre-loss condition. Without professional training, trace amounts of contamination may escape your notice and cause ongoing and future problems that can be even more difficult and expensive to remedy.

Our team of professionally certified experts have years of experience resolving various sewage cleanup and repair problems. No job is too dirty or too big for the professionally trained and certified experts at VIP Restoration.
